LEV ENGINEER

 

P&J Dust Extraction have outstanding opportunities for experienced LEV Engineers to join our nationwide team. Vacancies currently for engineers covering Essex, London, the South East, the South West, West and South Wales.

Good career opportunity for conscientious methodical engineer with good mechanical and electrical background and experience of testing commissioning and servicing LEV systems.

You must have good customer service and communication skills able to explain your report findings to the user.

 

Excellent career opportunity for candidates with the right attitude. You will be part of a team of engineers, usually be working by yourself, responsible for the Thorough Examination and Testing, Commissioning, Servicing and Maintenance of Dust and Fume Extraction systems throughout your home region, site based travelling from your home most of the time with regular visits to our Queenborough Kent ME11 HQ.

 

The role involves occasionally staying away overnight. A full clean driving licence is essential. Clients include security conscious sites prisons, armed forces and schools so undergoing an enhanced DBS/CRB criminal record check is mandatory.

 

P&J are market leaders in professional LEV advice and inspection, recognised throughout the LEV industry for the high quality of their service and products.

 

A fully qualified P&J LEV engineer will have BOH qualifications P601, P602 and P604. They will also be members of ILEVE the Institute of LEV Engineers (a division of CIBSE). Other mandatory qualifications include IPAF, PASMA and CSCS cards with work at height and on construction sites. Candidates who do not possess all of these will be considered for the P&J LEV engineering training scheme and mentored to enable them to achieve their potential.

Experience:

  • Electrical fault finding (3 Phase): 3 years (Preferred)

  • Electrical Installation (Industrial 3 phase): 3 years (Preferred)

  • Fume Cupboard Testing: 1 year (Preferred)

  • Fault finding Contol Panels: 3 years (Preferred)

  • IEE 18th Edition: 3 years (Preferred)

  • LEV hood improvement design: 2 years (Preferred)

  • Diagnosing and rectifying LEV faults: 3 years (Preferred)

  • Fault finding Inverters: 3 years (Preferred)

  • LEV ductwork layout design: 2 years (Preferred)

  • LEV Dust and Fume Extraction Systems: 3 years (Required)

 

Education:

  • A-Level or Degree (Preferred)

 

Licences & Qualifications:

  • Drivers License (Required)
